What is the Phyllis Wheatley Community Lawyering Project?

The Phyllis Wheatley Community Lawyering Project provides the following legal services to low-income residents of North Minneapolis:

  • Local and accessible legal education
  • Legal services fair

PWCLP collaborates with Volunteer Lawyers Network to provide a free, walk-in legal clinic at which you may receive legal advice and brief legal services. The clinic runs on Thursdays from 11 - 1:00 p.m.
